Global Warming

Five things that cause it:
1. Too much electricity being used
2. Deforestation
3. Carbon Dioxide
4. Permafrost
5. Tundra

Five thing you can do to prevent it:
1. Plant a tree
2. Change a light bulb
3. Use less heat and AC
4. Driving less
5. Use the "off" switch

*you can also encourage others to do the same*

Physical Properties & Chemical Properties

Physical Properties- Any aspects of an object or substance that can be measured without changing it's identity.
5 Examples: Density, Color, Boiling Point, Mass, and Strength.

Chemical Properties- Any quality that can be established only by changing a substance's chemical identity.
5 Example: Flammability, Toxicity, pH balance, Heat of combustion and Electronegativity.

Wave Definitions

Wavelength- Is the distance between repeating units of a propagating wave of a given frequency.

Wave Frequency- Refers to how many waves are made per time interval.

*The two types W@v3$*

Transverse waves- matter in the medium moves back and forth at right angles to the direction that the wave travels.

Compressional waves- matter in the medium moves back and forth along the same direction that the wave travels.

Planets

What I learned about gravity while playing "Planets".

I learned that the greater the gravitational pull that harder it is to hit that planet.
I've also learned the distance away from a planet effects the gravitational pull because the closer the planet the stronger the pull the further the planet the faster the pull.
